Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO)
The DSO will manage our safeguarding work, in line with legislation, FA Safeguarding Policy, Procedures and Regulations, including the implementation of the FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standards. The DSO will work in partnership with agencies across the county to manage concerns effectively and efficiently.
The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate knowledge of safeguarding and child protection, a working knowledge of safeguarding legislation and have experience of collating sensitive and detailed information. An understanding of the culture and structure of football, hopefully at grass roots level would be beneficial.
Football Development Officer - Male Pathway
The FDO (male pathway) will assist the playing and development of adult grassroots football by supporting the retention of adult teams and leagues, the transition of players from youth to adult football and the growth of more diverse opportunities to play either affiliated or recreational formats of the game, including small sided football, futsal and walking football.
Football Development Officer - Female Pathway FDO
The FDO (female pathway) will lead the strategic development of Women’s and Girls’ football in Lincolnshire and to support the delivery of The FA Game Plan for Growth through the County FA National Game Strategy.
For both FDO roles, the successful applicants will need to be passionate and committed to the development of football at a local level; be able to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. The successful applicants will need to demonstrate exceptional customer service, be able to work as part of a team with excellent planning, communication and presentation skills.
